“Just because I’m sick, doesn’t mean I can’t
be the Alpha!”
Ethan was mad at Jake.
“You’re evil. It’s not your place.”
Jake sent him away.
Bethany was kicked out.
The next day, Jake took over.
We were together.
saw Bethany looking at us from outside.
I knew she was going to cause trouble.
She called me.
She said, “I was wrong. I am going to leave
the country, can we all go eat one last meal?”
“Okay.”
L
I said yes.
The next morning, I had Jake drive me to her.
I could ask him for anything.
He was getting sweeter.
She said to meet her at the beach.
She had makeup, but it didn’t hide all of the
bruising.
Before the food, she tried everything.
“Just eat, I didn’t put anything in it.”
Jake ignored her and gave me the food.
“Eat up, baby.”
She watched. “Are you pregnant?”
I rubbed my stomach and laughed. “Yes, I
want a son, and Jake wants a daughter.”
The jealousy burned.
“Eat up then. We’ll be good.”
Suddenly, I smelled something.
Jake and I fell.
Bethany grinned. “Like last time.”
Jake shifted and bit her.
She screamed.
“Let go!”
<
I got up.
“You’re just as dumb as before. I knew you’d
try it again.”
I had expected that she was planning to use a
toxic gas.
I had given us medicine.
“You were born again? Why?”
Jake threw her.
I walked toward her.
Her arm was broken and bloody.
I smiled and said, “If you hadn’t tried to hurt
me, I would have told you that Ethan wasn’t a
good guy.‘
She spit at me. “Bitch!”
I slapped her and snapped her arm.
She froze, and then panicked. “How do you
know how to fight?”
I had started training and learning.
“Being born again doesn’t mean you win, you
have to try.”
I had Jake lock her up with Ethan.
“Don’t do that.”
I knew I was doing the right thing.
“If you didn’t hurt me, I would have told you
that Ethan wasn’t a good guy!”
She begged me.
“I’m sorry, let me out!”
“If you didn’t hurt me, I would have told you
that Ethan wasn’t a good guy!”
I left.
