Kevin and Nana Betty turned pale and ran
over, trying to stop them from bringing Mark
out.
“Don’t touch my son!”
Nana Betty wasn’t strong enough to stop
them.
One of my guys tripped her, and she fell.
I slipped some cash to the crematorium
workers and asked them to load Mark into the
furnace.
“He deserves rest.”
“I want to make sure he’s complete.”
“This man wants to take his body and sell his
organs, but I won’t let that happen.”
I was crying my eyes out, and the crowd was
moved.
They took my side.
“That poor girl, she’s still in love with him.
L
We can’t let them get away with this!”
“We have to help her get him into that
furnace!”
Kevin fought like hell, but the crowd was too
thick.
He couldn’t get through.
He was desperate, so he stopped pretending.
He started screaming.
“No! Don’t cremate him. He’s not dead!”
“Mark is alive! You can’t do this!”
He shouted that while the workers were
loading Mark into the furnace.
Mark was out cold.
Kevin was screaming that he was alive.
I couldn’t hold back my laughter.
He must have been out cold because the
sedatives were wearing off.
