Before I can think anymore, I pass out again.
I wake up to people talking.
I think my dad is here, but it is Scott.
He doesn’t even look at me and slaps me.
“Chelsea! What is wrong with you? Why did
you send Miranda to the police? Do you know
how much her dad loves her? Do you want to
die?”
The door opens, and I see Miranda come in.
She got out of jail? But she has security
guards behind her. And a man that I have
seen somewhere.
Before I can ask, a guard hits me with a
baseball bat.
I see blood come from my head and faint.
The man walks up to me.
“You are the one that is bullying my daughter,
right?”
I remember that man. He is my dad’s driver.
“You are my dad’s driver, right? What’s wrong

She made me kneel two times!
Scott laughs.
“You know what, Chelsea? The marriage is
off. Your dad called my grandad and said that
the Jones family is marrying the Scott family.
So you are nothing.”
“I want to thank you. Miranda wants to marry
me now because of what you did.”
I spit at him.
“You are nothing. The Jones family would not
marry you!”
Scott kicks me.
“You are trash! Your dad’s driver is here, and
Miranda is here! You are so stubborn!”
I feel dazed. But someone stands in front of
