Everyone was shocked at what Willow called
me!
“What? Willow’s husband is Ethan?”
“That’s why Ethan got on this show! What he
said at lunch was true!”
They couldn’t believe that the biggest star
was married to a nobody.
They realized what was going on and took a
couple of steps back, leaving Ashley and
Chad all alone.
Willow was wiping the blood off my head,
looking furious. “I already called the cops! No
one’s leaving until this is taken care of!
You’re all insane, bullying my husband?”
“I was gonna announce our relationship on
this show! You guys are great!”
“Assistant? Call an ambulance! Honey, just go
to the hospital, I’ll take care of this!”
She hugged me, shaking, looking like she was
about to freak out.
I gave her a look, telling her it was okay, that I
just needed a minute.
They finally realized I wasn’t lying.
I was married, and my wife was a superstar.
“Willow, it was a misunderstanding. We were
just filming a show. I never thought Chad
would do something like that.”
“Yeah, we wondered why Ethan didn’t want
anything to do with Ashley. You’re the one he
really wants!”
“Everyone was saying Ethan was a simp, and I
didn’t believe it. But you guys need to clear
up those rumors!”
Willow looked like she was gonna lose it.
“Shut up!”
Everyone went silent, staring at Willow.
I was feeling better, so I pointed at Chad. “He
broke the necklace. He’s paying for it.”
Chad went limp, sitting on the ground, pale as
a ghost.
“Willow, I’m sorry. I’ll pay for the necklace.”
“I’ll give you triple the price, please don’t be
mad!”
Ashley’s face turned white.
Two million!
How many endorsements would she need to
pay that back!
Plus, she couldn’t believe Willow was my wife.
If she screwed this up, she and Chad were
done in Hollywood.
Chad nodded in despair.
I knew she didn’t care about the money, she
just wanted to get back at them.
Willow took a deep breath, glaring at Chad.
“Now, let’s get down to business.”
The director and security showed up, and the
staff was trying to stop the bleeding.
“Who hit my husband? Step up!”
“If I find out, you’re gonna be sorry!”
Chad and Ashley just stood there, and
everyone else took a step back.
“Willow, it was a misunderstanding. Chad told
us to do it for the show, but we didn’t actually
hit Ethan!”
“Yeah, we didn’t even get a chance.”
