So, that’s Naomi

When Jemima was reviewing the documents, she had come across this name, but she had no idea this person would turn out to be a stunning beauty.
“Ms. Atkins,” Zander stopped Naomi as she was about to ascend the stairs.
“Zander.” Naomi gave him a cool glance. “It’s been a while.”
As she moved her gaze away from Zander and started to look up, she caught sight of Jemima. Her eyes turned cold. “Who are you?”
Jemima confidently extended her hand, “Hello, Ms. Atkins, I’m Jemima Willis, Mr. Sterling’s secretary.”
Jemima was unsure if it was just her imagination, but Naomi’s expression seemed even colder than before, a hint of sadness flickering in her eyes. “His secretary, huh,” she scoffed.
Jemima was stunned.
Naomi didn’t shake hands with her. Exuding an icy demeanor, she nudged them aside and walked into the interior.
“Ms. Atkins, she. Jemima looked at Zander in confusion.
Zander let out a sigh. “She is the daughter of Mrs. Sterling’s friend. She was brought up in the Sterling family and had some…. emotional involvement with Mr. Sterling. It’s kind of a love–hate relationship.”
Jemima immediately understood. “Ah, I see now.”
No wonder Scott chose to come to Solvenzia first. He is pining for her.
The yacht had set sail, and Jemima returned to the deck with Zander.
Inside the cabin, Scott was basking in the attention like a star surrounded by his fans, handling it all with effortless grace. He occasionally responded with a faint smile, seemingly unfazed by the appearance of Naomi, as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Meanwhile, Kian was quite adept at creating opportunities for his granddaughter.
Willow was incredibly bold, always seeking opportunities to chat with Scott. She was practically wearing her heart on her sleeve, stopping short of confessing her feelings outright.
Scott maintained a polite demeanor toward her, neither distant nor overly warm,
As for Naomi, she stood beside him, maintaining a polite demeanor. Yet, there was always a feeling that her smile was somewhat forced.
Ah, the must be heartbroken.
As a woman herself, Jemima could grasped the bitterness within Naomi’s heart.
She watched the drama unfold with glee, her eyes darting back and forth between the three individuals, much like a neighborhood busybody..
Suddenly, Scott looked her way.
Stunned, Jemima held her breath.
Before she could hide, he caught her in the act of schadenfraude.
He immediately narrowed his eyes, as if he could tell what she was thinking.
“Mr. Sadinion, may I take a walk up from?” She timidly turned around to look at Zander.
“Sure, go ahead. I’ll keep an eye on things,” Zander agreed readily.

With that, Jemima walked away as fast as she could, her high heels clicking rapidly against the ground.
She walked over to an open area up front, where two chairs were placed, and sat down.

The waves surged, with the distant cityscape reduced to specks of golden light that were scattered across the enigmatic canvas of the night.
She finally managed to completely relax, both physically and mentally.
After relishing in the sea breeze for a while, she pulled out her phone from her bag.
After she finished her call with Amelia earlier, she had turned off her phone. Once she arrived here, she bought a new phone and got a new number for work.
Upon unlocking her old phone, she saw over a hundred missed calls, despite the fact that she had turned it off.
There were calls from unknown numbers, her parents, Amelia, other friends, her former subordinates, and even from acquaintances she knew from her business dealings.
She then opened WhatsApp.
Amelia had sent her several text messages, and the earliest one read: Don’t answer, don’t bother, and believe it. It’s all Julius‘ doing!
An hour had passed when Amelia sent her another message: Jemma, where are you?”
Her parents had also sent her a message: Where are you? Please come back soon!
Even Wynter was asking: Where are you?
She spent quite a while reading through the barrage of text messages, as if everyone in her life was concerned about her whereabouts… Julius, you’re crazy!
Feeling emotionally weary, she let out a sigh.
After logging out of WhatsApp, she found countless text and voice messages waiting for her in her inbox.
From initially asking her calmly about her whereabouts, the tone gradually shifted to uncontrollable rage and fury. The most recent voice message was sent five minutes ago.
His voice was low and hoarse, his words jumbled and choked with emotion.
“I’m sorry, Honey. I realize my mistake now. I’m a jerk, and I deserve the worst. I’ve let you down… Please, give me another chance… You can punish me however you see fit, even if it costs me my life… If you need to clear your mind, go ahead. I’ll be waiting for you at home… I’ve only made one mistake, so you can’t… can’t be this cruel to me…”
She quickly turned off her phone again.
It felt as if a second’s delay would have caused the man’s pitiful crying to pull her back into the hell that was her previous life.
Back in Yhuwell, Julius was seated on the lawn in front of the mansion, looking worn out and disheveled. His hair was a mess, and the stubble on his chin had turned a shade of blue. The ground around him was littered with empty wine bottles, and behind him stood a pitch–black house.
