To make it more convincing and complete the story, I threw a wedding.

I nodded.
“Does it mean the job’s done, Mr. Foster?”
“Yeah. Go collect your payment to my assistant.“}
“Thank you, Mr. Foster.” She was practically skipping to my car.”
I turned to Brian. He didn’t say a word.”
“Wanna grab a drink?” I asked.”
“No. Laura doesn’t like me drinking.”[
I scoffed and dragged him along. “Come on, she won’t be mad this time”
I never imagined that after that day, so much would change for both of us.
The wine didn’t go to waste; the next day, Brian became the heir of the Heath Family.
He said he wasn’t interested, but I could tell he was secretly pleased.
After all, he had finally repaid a dream from three years ago, didn’t he?”
