Vanishing Love
Chapter 1
I stumbled upon a vlogger’s street interview
on social media.
“What would you say to your five years
younger self?”
In the video, Jason held his girlfriend close.
His voice was calm, tender.
“I wish five years ago Jason could have met
Lily sooner.”
The girl in his arms blushed, softly agreeing.
“Me too.”
Netizens gushed, showering them with
blessings.
Nobody knew that five years ago was my
wedding day with Jason.
Not even Jason himself remembered.
Until a week later.
The vlogger posted another street interview
video
く
In the video, I looked directly into the camera,
speaking seriously.
“If you could, Sarah, don’t marry Jason. You’ll
regret it.”
This time, Jason saw it.

The day I agreed to the divorce was a
perfectly ordinary afternoon.
I called Jason, but Lily answered.
“Hello?”
“I’m looking for Jason.”
“He’s in the shower. What is it? You can tell
me.”
Her voice was as ever, sweet and fearless.
It even held a subtle hint of ownership and
boastfulness.
In the past, I would have screamed,
hysterically yelling at Lily to get lost and
demanding to speak to Jason.
But now, I knew that only Lily could reach.
く
Jason.
I couldn’t let her hang up on me like before.
Leaving me feeling like a crazy person.
“He mentioned wanting a divorce, right? I
agreed.”
I calmly relayed my message.
Lily on the other end fell silent for a second,
repeating in disbelief.
“You agreed to the divorce?”
“Yeah.”
As soon as I finished, I heard rustling.
Jason must have taken the phone.
I quickly heard his low, indifferent voice.
“It’s me.”
I knew it.
Hearing his voice, I felt a little dazed.
After all, since he moved out of the villa six
months ago to be with Lily,
we hadn’t been in contact.
The last thing he said to me was:
く
“Sarah, we’re getting a divorce. If you don’t
agree, I’ll separate and file a lawsuit.”
Now, six months later, I gave in.
“Lily said you want a divorce?”
Seeing my silence, Jason asked.
He must have been frowning; his tone was a
little puzzled.
I didn’t understand his confusion.
Wasn’t it him who initiated the divorce?
But now I didn’t want to argue with Jason
about “who brought it up.”
I hummed in agreement.
Telling him: “When you’re free, let’s meet and
sign the divorce papers.‘
After that, I hung up.
