I left Jason’s office.
The conversation wasn’t pleasant.
The atmosphere seemed to seep out.
When I came out, everyone dared not breathe,
wishing they could hide in the ground.
The only one who dared to make a sound was
Lily.
She was angry and caught up to me.
“Sarah! You b*tch, are you satisfied now?
Ruining Jason, what good does it do you?!”
She questioned me, her voice full of
resentment and indignation.
Hearing her voice, I found it annoying.
So I slapped Lily across the face.
<
“Fool, if you had any brains, you would’ve
gotten him to divorce me sooner, so he
wouldn’t have the label of cheater and
scumbag.”
I mocked her.
Lily covered her face.
I reminded her, “Also, be polite to me, since I haven’t divorced Jason yet. Be careful, I might ask Jason to get back the money he spent on
you.”
“He won’t!”
“In this situation, you want to try?”
I’m good at angering people.
Lily was furious but dared not speak, only
glaring at me as I left.
