“…Mr. Joyner was taught that, so do you have any instructions when you called?”

Finn hesitated for a while before saying, “Go and charge the phone in my office, and then set up call forwarding to this phone.”
“Okay.”
Finn hung up the phone, and his mood seemed to improve a little. He hummed a song as he went to take a shower, occasionally glancing at his phone.
But he didn’t wait for someone to call him, instead he waited for Mylee to knock on the door.
Finn put on his bathrobe and went to open the door. Mylee rushed in and hugged his waist, crying, “Finn, it’s thundering so loudly outside, I’m really scared. Can I sleep here with you?”
Finn frowned and after a moment, he gently pushed Mylee away, saying, “Mylee, it’s not appropriate, I am married.”
Mylee’s face turned red, but she still tried to make up for it, saying, “I’m sorry, I just remembered that rainy day from my childhood when my mom left me at the orphanage gate… Finn, you wouldn’t do the same and abandon me, would you?”
“Don’t be afraid, I won’t abandon you,” Finn instantly felt sorry and changed his words, “If you’re scared, then just sleep here.”
“Finn, you were the best to me.” Mylee’s face lit up, and she immediately jumped onto the bed.
However, Finn walked to the window and showed no intention of going to sleep.
He stared at the pouring rain outside the window, wondering what he was thinking.
In bed, Mylee took off her robe, revealing a sexy lace camisole. “Finn, it’s late, aren’t you tired?”
Finn didn’t even turn his head. “You go to sleep, I’m not tired.”
Mylee was a little disappointed, but she still pouted and coquettishly said, “Can you sit next to me? You are too far away, and I can’t fall asleep.”
“Okay.”
Finn sat at the edge of the bed, but he was far away from Mylee.
“Come over a little.”

Finn moved one inch.
Mylee, with a displeased expression on her face, suddenly lunged forward and hugged him from
behind.
Finn’s body stiffened.
Mylee leaned in and blew into his car, “Finn, do you hate me?”
Finn suddenly turned his head to the side and said, “Why would you ask that? Of course, I… don’t dislike you.”
“Do you like me then?”
“…liked.”
Mylee was delighted and tilted her head up to kiss Finn’s ear, but Finn abruptly pushed her away. “Mylee, what I meant was, liking someone like a sister.”
“But I didn’t want this kind of liking,” Mylee said with a teary voice.
“Mylee…”
Finn hadn’t finished speaking when Mylee pounced on him again, kissing his lips.
Finn shuddered all over, just about to push her away, but when he saw the tears sliding down Mylee’s cheek, his outstretched hand gently returned to her waist.
A mischievous smile flashed in Mylee’s eyes as she suddenly pushed Finn down and straddled his
waist.
Just as she was about to untie Finn’s belt, Finn’s phone rang at an inappropriate time.
Upon hearing the bell, Finn jolted as if he had been startled, and abruptly pushed Mylee away.
“Ah!” Mylee exclaimed.
Finn, however, paid no attention and got up to answer Rey’s call.
Rey: “Mr. Joyner, Mrs. Joyner had an accident…”
“What does it mean?”
Rey: “Someone just found Mrs. Joyner’s wedding ring at the second–hand market and brought it to
me.”
Wedding ring?
