Although Finn said so, the further he went, the more nervous he looked.
Since the new boss took over, the circus has resumed its operation. In the past few days, the animals in the shed have been taken out for performances, except for the lion bought by Finn, which lazily lies in its cage.
Finn walked up to the lion cage, initially with a serious expression. However, upon seeing the situation inside the cage, he suddenly burst into laughter. “I knew it! I knew Lola must be playing a trick on me. How could such a gentle lion possibly eat a person? Besides, this cage is so clean. If it really was a lion eating someone, there wouldn’t be a single bone or drop of blood trace…”
Rey: “Could it be that someone had cleaned up the scene?”
Finn frowned, “Then let’s pull up the surveillance footage and take a look.”
“Yes.”
Rey called for the surveillance footage to be retrieved, but discovered that the video from the day of the accident was missing.
I thought that with such a strange thing in front of Finn, his thoughts would definitely waver.
Little did he know, he sneered, “Well, Lola did a meticulous job in order to deceive me.”
“Rey, spread the word, even if it means digging three feet underground, find Lola for me. How dare she play games with me, I will make sure she pays the price!”
At this moment, he actually still thought that I was lying. It’s really pathetic.
Finn returned home angrily.
When he arrived home, Mylee was already sitting in the living room waiting for him.
“Are you okay, Finn?”
Finn suppressed his emotions and let out a sigh of relief, saying, “It’s okay now.”
Mylee tentatively asked, “You came back so quickly, is it because you wanted to see Lola?”
Finn frowned, but still explained, “Yes, she ran away, and I almost got tricked by her…”
Mylee handed him a glass of water and said with a smile, “Finn, you don’t have to worry. As a woman myself, I understand Lola’s thoughts. If a woman doesn’t want her husband to know her whereabouts, there is only one possibility…”

“What is possible?”
Mylee blurted out, “There were people outside, you know.”
Bang!
Finn suddenly smashed the cup in his hand.
“Ah!”
Mylee exclaimed and quickly explained, “Finn, don’t be angry, I was just speculating from a woman’s perspective, maybe Lola is different from the others…”
“No, maybe you’re right,” Finn said, his face turning ominously dark. “No wonder she’s been wanting a divorce from me all this time. Turns out she had already betrayed me long ago. I can’t believe I was foolishly waiting for her call, when she had already run off with her lover!”
“So… so what are you going to do?”
Finn gritted his teeth and said, “She dared to betray me, I definitely won’t let her get away with it!”
After saying that, he suddenly stood up and quickly went upstairs into my room.
Since Mylee came back, we have been sleeping in separate rooms for a while, and Finn used to be very disdainful of entering this room.
But now, he, like a madman, kicked the door open and started frantically rummaging through cabinets and drawers, as if searching for evidence of my infidelity.
“How could there be none? I don’t believe she wouldn’t leave any traces…”
Finn messed up my room, searching almost every corner, but still couldn’t find the “evidence” that satisfied him.
He got so angry that he picked up a pillow and threw it on the ground.
