Chapter 11
Rey couldn’t help but remind, “Ms. Perkins, you falsely accused Mrs. Joyner, causing her to be locked in a lion cage, resulting in Mrs. Joyner… being bitten to death by a lion.”
“Ah! It’s not my fault, I’m innocent, Finn…” Mylee crawled over, wanting to hug Finn’s leg, but was instead kicked away by Finn.
“You were still lying, I watched the surveillance footage from that day. It was clearly you who kicked the dog first, but you turned around and accused my wife! I must have been blind to believe you, you despicable person!”
“Finn, I… I was wrong, please forgive me, Finn… I… I did all this because I love you so much, I was just trying to make you forget about Lola by constantly bothering you… I thought you were in pain, and I wanted to use this method to make you completely give up on her… That way, you wouldn’t be in pain anymore…” Mylee once again approached and hugged Finn’s leg.
Finn raised his hand, about to slap her, but she hurriedly explained, “Really, I didn’t want to kill her, you can’t blame everything on me… It’s not like I told you to lock her in a cage… It was your own decision… It was your own decision…”
Finn’s face turned pale, and he staggered back, saying, “You’re right… what you said is right, the most despicable person is me… yes, it’s me…”
Finn fell into deep self–blame and, after a long time, he instructed Rey, “Rey, give her some money and make sure she never appears in front of me again.”
“But Mr. Joyner…” Rey was worried, leaning in close to Finn’s ear and lowering her voice. “She knows too much, is it safe to let her go like this?”
Finn glanced at Mylee and said, “No, she was innocent. It was my failure to set boundaries that led her to develop unwarranted delusions… Let her go.”
Rey was helpless and had no choice but to send the person away.
After Mylee left, Finn came to the basement again and knelt in front of my remains, repenting, “Honey, I’m sorry.
“I was wrong to blame you… I have learned the truth now, but I can’t hurt Mylee. It’s all because of me that she has become like this. Will you forgive her, please?
“I knelt down to apologize on her behalf, can you please stop holding a grudge? Is that okay?”
At this moment, he was still favoring Mylee.

But I had already been too lazy to argue with him, because not long after he knelt down, the sound of police sirens could be heard outside the villa.
Rey hurriedly ran to the basement and said, “Mr. Joyner, you need to escape quickly, Mylee has called the police!”
“What?” Finn stumbled, “How could it be? Why would she do that?”
“Because, she was mine.”
A man’s voice came from the entrance of the basement.
Finn suddenly turned his head and caught sight of a tall man in a suit appearing in the basement. The man was holding Mylee in his arms, with a group of bodyguards following behind them.
