From my point of view, I saw Angus standing at the edge of my vision. The veins on his forehead bulged with fury
I had never seen him this angry before
Was it because Hallie had fallen into the water? How touching–he really was devoted to her.
Angus stormed over closing the distance in just a few strides and yanked me into his arms.

In this day and age, no woman could walk away from a scandal like that unscathed. The Davidsons‘ stock took a massive hit, but I couldn’t care less.
