“Avery, what exactly are you doing?” Asher demanded. “We’re fine–why do you have to insist on a divorce?”
“Are you still blaming me for the baby? I told you, that was an accident. It’s just one lost pregnancy; we can have another,” he snapped. I couldn’t help but scoff, bitterly amused. Did he think he was some kind of emperor?

I stayed silent, a cold smile forming. It seemed Camilla was determined to help me finalize this divorce today.
At this point, I decided to take a seat on the couch and enjoy the show.

I simply smiled wider. Truly, these two idiots were a match made in heaven.
