Heartbroken by Damien’s absence, two days passed in agony, despite the housekeeper insisting numerous times, I refused to live in Damien’s home anymore and came back to my villa.
“Who’s a good boy hmm? Is Liam mama’s good boy or is is Aaron?” the twins laughed merrily making me smile, I was playing with the children when suddenly the bell rang.!!
Astonished of who could be knocking during a snowstorm I went outside in a hurry. Drenched in snow, I saw Damien staring right back at me in pain through the window.
“Elena baby, why…why did you come here all alone? Elena are you alright?” He voiced through the glass.
Tears stung my eyes as I hurriedly unlocked the door.
“Please come in, it’s freezing outside.” Angry yet unable to see that man I loved suffering like this, I bit my lip inviting him in
“Please go and take a hot water bath while I cook something to warm you up-” The rest of the words were swallowed as Damien’s lips collided with mine like he was a camal beast, his arms going around my waist possessively as he pulled me impossibly closer
“I missed you so damn much.” Speaking between the kiss he refysed to let go even when I pushed. Completely raged by his confusing behavior I struggled in Damien’s tight hold breaking free.!!
“Elena-” he whispered like he was possessed by my love to which I finally could not endure anymore.
“Shutup!” Tears streamed down my face as I stared at those grey irises which widened in panic.!
“You damn lunatic! How could you leave me alone just after spending the night without a single call and then as soon as you come home, you can come running in a blizzard just to find me
Have you lost your mind Damien?! Your hands have turned blue with frostbite! Do you want to lose your limbs!”
“It’s much better than losing you.” My lips wobbled when Darmien looked lost, his eyes red when he saw that I was really sad.
“I wanted to come back…I wanted to take you in my arms, I will explain everything baby–just give me sometime okay.” I did not answer and turned around.
“I will be waiting for you here, first go and change.” Damien sighed following my instructions and soon came down.”

“When we were young roses used to be your favorite flowers Elena, I know you don’t like them anymore because of Alex, but do remember there was a small rose shrub you planted in your backyard?” Damien chuckled softly as if he was reminded of the scene. “You used to water that poor plant so much so that it almost drowned.” unknowingly my lips formed a pout as I remembered my favorite plant. It was a hobby I adopted when all my pets were harmed by Jessica in cruel ways thus to save myself from misery I adopted this weird way.
“You even named it- Sally was it?” I could not control my emotions and smiled gently.
“The flowers that you received that day after our night were from Sally. Just like you it has grown beautifully over the years.” my eyes widened in chock.
“Not..not possible my father uprooted it-“)
“Yes, but I took it home and continued to nurture it, Sally even has a growth journal and your can see photos of since when it was brought. Just like that flower, thankyou for growing up so beautifully Elena, from your heart and soul I cannot help but love you every moment.” The dam of my emotions broke and I asked with teary eyes.
“Why return now? Leaving me alone after spending the night, why?” Before I could comprehend I was pulled right into Damien’s hold as he cupped my cheeks gently.
“Our marriage has been decided.”
