Chapter 185
After going upstairs, she unlocked the door, finding the room completely dark. Assuming Zea was already asleep, she changed her shoes and quietly returned to her room.
Placing her bag on the nightstand, she walked straight into the bathroom, stripping off her clothes and tossing them aside. She turned on the shower to wash away the day’s grime.
Warm water fell from above but couldn’t wash away her fatigue. She was truly exhausted, both physically and mentally.

Moira stopped, feeling a surge of nervousness, thinking it might be a thief. But as the door creaked open, she saw Zea entering the living room with barbecue and beer.
“You’re still awake!”
Zea’s eyes flashed as she hummed softly.
“Do you want to eat together?”
Moira, feeling hungry, agreed and sat on the sofa.
Zea placed the barbecue on the coffee table and went to fetch two glasses.
Moira took a skewer and started eating, asking. “Were you hlining touch?”
Zea stopped pouring her wine and looked up at her. “You didn’t look at your phone”
“What’s wrong with my phone!”
Zea felt a surge of anger, recalling the scene she witnessed earlier. “Didn’t tell you to call me after the banquet? I was waiting to pick you up?
Moira was stunned for a moment and grinned. “Im sorry, I forgot,”
“I knew you’d forget!”
Zea couldn’t help but lose her temper. “But even if you forgot, I called you multiple times. You should have at least returned one of my calls. Do you know how worried I was? I even drove to the hotel to find you, but the security there told me the banquet had ended long ago. I kept calling you, and you never answered. I thought something had happened to you and almost called the police”
Moira felt deeply moved and guilty upon hearing those words.
She quickly got up and went to her room to find her phone. When she looked at it, she saw seventeen missed calls.
“I put my phone on sälent, so I didn’t hear it.”
“Was it really silent, or were e you too busy flirting with Conrad to notice!”
As soon as Zea said that, she realized that she shouldn’t have said that. However, Moira had already heard it. Her expression froze. “You saw it?”
Zea regretted it immediately, quickly apologizing and explaining, “I didn’t mean to spy. I was coming home and saw you two at the door, so I went to buy barbecue and beer”
After pause, she asked tentatively. “Moira, did you make up with him””
Moira looked at Zea and slowly pursed her lips into a straight line.
She gripped the meat skewer in her hand tightly and, after a moment, answered softly, “No”
“But didn’t

After saying that, Zea realized that she had spoken too quickly again,
“We might be getting a divorce next week.”
