I clenched my fists tightly trying to remain calm and composed despite my soul crumbling with the intense betrayal. It might have been alright to replace me for I had no hopes left from Alex but to even go as far as to declare that I could never be a mother.
He trampled on my heart relentlessly.

“No darling.” He spoke before muttering something under his breath-‘even if I want to kidnap you Elena I am not particularly a kidnapper.’

“Nothing, lets just go.” We went to the bakery shop and the shameless man did not even think twice before odering a buffet–raspberry cheese cake, chocolate dip cookies, a blueberry shake and whatnot.
Surprisingly all of the items were my favorite and we were given a seat by the seaside view.
“What are you not going to eat now?” I asked in anger just thinking of the price of everything. just because I spilled his coffee he made me buy him a buffet.

“Since you spent so much on it, why dont you try how it is.” Despite not being able to see his face, I was confused to hear his voice turning gentle and he looked as if he was smiling.
“I hate bumping into you!” I shouted my pregnancy hormones making me drool over the food as I dived into it without caring about this stranger. If I paid for it it was better if I enjoyed it thoroughly.
When I had almost completed eating the man’s phone rang making him sigh deeply.

To gather more information about the place I might have gone to and the people I was in contact with, Alex searched through my belongings in the house.
Upon opening my wardrobe, my husband realized that all of the precious jewelry he brought me as a gift remained untouched with most dresses still in pristine. condition, only a few regular clothes that I bought with my own money from the restaurant went missing.
After our argument Alex wanted to burn all of my items yet the untouched things made him freeze.
