Kicked Out of the Wealthy Family, Four Brot… 1/5
Chapter 107 Was He Jealous?
Jennifer shook her head right away when she heard him. “No, my family is strict!”
Besides, she had always focused on getting her brothers‘ attention, worried that Sarah might take them away from her.
She really didn’t have the mind to think about anything else.
But in the end, Sarah had still managed to outmaneuver her.
She shot back, “What about you?”
Timothy’s expression cooled considerably. “Yes.”
“Oh, is she pretty?” Jennifer asked with unexpected curiosity.
Jennifer felt an odd twinge of curiosity!
But Timothy had no desire to continue the conversation and turned to head for the bathroom.
Jennifer watched his retreating figure, puzzled. Halfway through the conversation, and he just left? What did that mean?
Was he allowed to ask her questions but not the other way around?
Jennifer went to the dressing room to change. The room was

filled with the latest designer clothes, shoes, and accessories.
Angelina had been kind to her.

She had even asked Sharon to help with her health, casing her pain, not treating her just as a means for bearing children!
Jennifer remembered that kindness.
Before her contractual marriage with Timothy ended, she was determined to develop medicine that could treat his legs!
If Angelina found out Timothy could stand again, she’d surely be overjoyed!
It was the surprise she planned for Angelina.
Jennifer finished changing and came out, only to find Timothy had already left the bedroom.
After washing up, she headed downstairs to the main hall.
Jennifer only saw Millie sitting on the couch. She walked over and greeted respectfully, “Good morning, Mrs. Millie Clark.”
“Hmm.”
Millie acknowledged her with a nod, seeming in good spirits. “Did you hear? Sandy’s in some trouble; she might even end up in jail!
“Well, if she did wrong, she should face the consequences.”

No wonder Millie was so pleased; it turned out there was trouble in Mary’s family, and she was enjoying their misfortune.
Mary had overshadowed Millie for years, so it was understandable that she felt some satisfaction now.
But as far as Jennifer knew, Sandy would be fine; someone else would take the fall.
It wasn’t long before Timothy and Angelina appeared.
Angelina didn’t mention Mary, and Jennifer pretended to be invisible as she ate breakfast.
Angelina set down her utensils and asked, “Jennifer, do you have classes today?”
“Yes, I’ll be heading to school soon.”
Jennifer had something important to handle today!
Yesterday, she had been set up, which damaged Vivian’s fabric, and she still hadn’t found a solution.
Although Timothy had arranged for someone to look into it, there was still no news. She had to keep thinking of a way; waiting wasn’t an option.
Millie looked at Jennifer. “When you don’t have classes, come to the manor and keep Madam Clark company. Cut back on part–time jobs and such.”

Jennifer felt a bit conflicted.

Timothy spoke up, “Mom, her schedule is packed. I’ll bring her back when there’s time.”
Millie didn’t want to contradict her son, so she let it go.
Jennifer left the manor with Timothy.
Once they were in the car, she exhaled and said, “Thanks for speaking up for me just now.”
If she really had to come over whenever she had no classes, she wouldn’t get anything done.
Timothy’s tone was calm. “We’re just in a mutual arrangement.”
“Right, exactly.”
Jennifer thought for a moment and glanced at the front passenger seat; Eric wasn’t there.
Timothy followed her gaze. “Why are you looking for Eric?”
“I wanted to ask about the fabric and if there’s any update. Can you give me his contact?”
Timothy’s lips pressed into a cold line. “He has a girlfriend.”
“What does him having a girlfriend have to do with this?”

Jennifer found his response odd.

Timothy turned his head, pulled out his phone, and called Eric. His tone was clipped. “Talk to him yourself.”
Jennifer found a phone placed in her hand.
Soon, Eric’s respectful voice came through. “Mr. Clark, is there something you need?”
Jennifer quickly spoke up, “Eric, it’s me. I wanted to ask how the search for the fabric is going.”
“There’s currently a lead. I heard there might be stock at Mcewan Clothing. I’ve sent someone to check, and I’ll report to Mr. Clark as soon as there’s news.”
“Thanks.”
Jennifer hung up and handed the phone back.
Timothy turned, his tone low. “Shouldn’t you be thanking me?”
Yet she had been so warm and polite to Eric!
