Catalina’s POV
“Is that you? Say something!” Javier demanded, his voice a mix of anger and
concern.
“It’s me, Javier. Did you miss me?” I asked mockingly, letting my voice drip with
sarcasm.
“Where are you? Tell me! And are you with your man? I swear, Catalina, I’ll kill him! No one will have you but me!” Javier’s voice grew louder, filled with possessiveness.
Sophia’s face twisted in shock, clearly not expecting his words. “Babe! I’m here! Catalina took me! Save me and your baby!” she cried out, desperation lacing
her voice.
“Sophia?” Javier‘ s tone shifted,
confusion evident. “Why are you with my wife? Catalina, answer me. Did you take

Sophia?”
“Yes, she’s with me,” I replied coldly. “Because I’ve uncovered everything she’s done. I thought I could stop her, but look at what your mistress has caused, Javier. You‘ ve lost billions because of
her.”
“You liar!” Sophia screamed, tears streaking her face. “Javier, don’t believe. her! She’s twisting everything-
“I don’t believe you, Sophia!” Javier cut her off, his voice sharp. “Mi amore, you can punish her, but don‘ t harm the baby.”
His words silenced Sophia. Her eyes widened in disbelief, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
“You’ll allow me to punish her? Truly, Javier?” I asked, feigning surprise, my tone dripping with mockery.
“Yes,” he said firmly. “You‘ re still the Donna. You‘ re still my wife.”

A slow, triumphant smile spread across my lips. I glanced at Sophia, whose expression was frozen in shock.
“Sophia has broken the Cartel’s trust. She must be punished,” Javier continued, his voice steady and resolute. “Mi amore, tell me where you are. I want to see it. I want to see how you punish her.”
“I’ll send you the location. Be here,” I replied before ending the call.
Turning to Sophia, I smirked. “He truly loves you, doesn‘ t he? Or is it just your body and the child he cares about?”
“Javier’s only saying that to come here!” Sophia shot back, trying to sound confident. “I trust him. He won’t let you
hurt me.”
I didn’t bother responding. I simply waited for Javier to arrive.
Not long after, a knock sounded at the door. Kallias stepped inside. “The Don is here with his men. Should I let him in?”

you have any proof?”
He fell silent, his eyes darting to the floor.
“Show me the proof,” I demanded. Then I laughed, a sharp, mocking sound. “Oh, that’s right–there isn‘ t any. Why bother with proof when you‘ re so quick to believe her lies? Even after she betrayed you, losing billions in shipments?”
“You‘ re lying, Catalina! You‘ re framing me to make Javier hate me!” Sophia shouted, stepping closer to him.
“Am I?” I tilted my head, amused. “And where’s your proof, Sophia?”
“You told me yourself! You‘ re a liar! How dare you-”
“Enough!” Javier’s voice thundered, silencing her. His glare bore into Sophia.
“How could you betray me, Sophia? I trusted you with this. You said you handled everything with your uncle. But now, I find out you planned to ruin the Cartel? Some of my men are dead because of you!”
