Werewolf is a love brain Chapter 6

Part

By the time we finished signing the contract, it

was 7 PM. I walked wearily out of the building

and saw a man and a dog facing off at the

entrance. My yellow Lab, body tense, paws

scraping the ground, growled low, warning off the wolfystranger. The werewolf stood there

casually, arms crossed, looking disdainful

muttering things I couldn’t understand. … Was

he communicating with the dog? Could dogs

understand wolf language

Slightly bewildered, I watched them for

moment before approaching and stroking

Buddy’s head. “Don’t be mad, buddy. Mommy’s

back.”

The werewolf went silent for a moment, then

came over and squatted beside me, head

hanging low

What are you doing?I asked

I want to pet him too,he mumbled, nudging closer. I was your pet too. You can’t just pet

him and not me.”

I sighed. I’d learned from the client who he was

Ethan Grey. The youngest son of the

prestigious Grey family, a major shareholder in

Rong An, one of the biggest semiconductor

companies in the country. One of the

wealthiest, most eligible bachelors in the city. How could he be such a shameless werewolf

I stood up, my face cold. Did you steal my

dog?”

I didn’t steal him.He mumbled. The leash

was loose. I just tugged on it, and it came undone. The dog followed a piece of bologna. It

wasn’t my fault”

I just stared at him, silent

He bit his lip. “Okay, fine, I’m sorry. He looked utterly dejected. You’re so good to him. You

pet him, you buy him toys, you even kiss him. I’m jealous. It used to beyou only had me.
