Tiffany snapped, “Damon, you’ve been playing
the loving husband for too long that you believe
it yourself. Why would Black Sea kidnap your
wife?”
“You’re the one who set it up, aren’t you?”
Damon’s mind reeled, strangely accepting this
crazy idea.
Yeah, Black Sea knows Ashley has no status in
his heart. They wouldn’t harm her.
But Damon couldn’t risk it. He brushed Tiffany
off, and went back to searching.

He sped over to the station, watching the
recovered security footage.

Damon stared, replaying it.
The woman on the screen was Ashley, covered
in bandages, bleeding from her wound.
Damon felt like his heart was breaking.
“We analyzed the ransom note, and confirmed
Black Sea didn’t ask for a ransom of a
hostage.”
Damon came to his senses and asked, “Then
does that mean my wife was kidnapped by
accident?”

“Clearly, your wife was their target.”
Damon didn’t understand. “Then why don’t they
want money for her?”
The cop’s eyes filled with pity.

could he be hearing such insane stuff?
Ashley, who was always so kind, someone
wanted her dead?
But his assistant looked like he expected this.
Damon pulled him aside. “What do you know?”

Tiffany talking on the phone.”
“She was talking about paying a million dollars.”
“The next day, we heard that the Black Sea
thugs were coming.”
Damon denied it. “It can’t be Tiffany, why would
she want to kill Ashley?”
The assistant hid his mockery.
Tiffany had been playing games in the
background for years.
Even kidnapping Ashley’s daughter, it was all

But Damon was blind, and still thought of her

He reached the hospital and heard Lily crying.

mom.”
A loud slap sounded, and Lily cried harder.
Damon was about to rush in, but then heard
Tiffany say, with a vicious voice.

Damon felt paralyzed, unable to move.
He heard Tiffany’s evil plans.
Using fake pregnancy to get Frank to marry her.
Using the kid she picked up to manipulate Damon, forcing Ashley to divorce him.
Tiffany’s voice stung, “Damon and Frank are
such fools, I’m playing them like a fiddle.”
“Ashley is also a fool, she raised a stray and
fell in love with the guy who killed her
daughter.”
Lily cried, “You’re a bad lady, I’m going to tell
