After his robot wife died, he went
crazy.
Chapter 1
I was dying after a horrific car crash, and my
husband, Mark Hamilton, saved me by turning
me into an Al robot.
Mark was worried I wouldn’t be able to handle
it, so he took a long vacation to care for me.
Six months later, I went to the hospital for a
checkup and was knocked unconscious and
taken straight to the operating room.
In a daze, I heard Mark’s voice.
“Don’t give Emily any anesthetic for the blood
transfusion. I’m worried it’ll affect Sarah’s
recovery after the procedure.”
L
“Are you sure you want to give all of your
wife’s blood to Sarah Collins? Emily suffered
so much when she was turned into an AI
robot. Are you really willing to do this?”
Mark chuckled coldly. “If it weren’t for Emily’s
Rh–negative blood type, I wouldn’t have
married her.”
“She and our future children are just walking
blood banks for Sarah. That’s their only
purpose.”
“Besides, an Al robot is just losing a bit of
blood. Her genes mutated, so her blood
regenerates quickly. She’ll recover soon
enough. But if Sarah doesn’t get a full blood
transfusion, she’ll die.”
L
The perfect encounter, love at first sight
lies.
all
But Mark didn’t know that I had donated
blood to Sarah multiple times before, and my
health was already failing.
Plus, I was pregnant, which caused another
genetic mutation.
If I had a full blood transfusion, I would really
die.
- 1.
I was already awake, though groggy, when
they put me on the operating table.
Mark’s breath hitched in fear, and he punched
L
me in the temple.
I blacked out completely, and my soul left my
body.
The doctor looked terrified and checked my
condition. “Mr. Hamilton, you hit her so hard!
Mrs. Hamilton won’t be able to withstand it!”
Mark’s face darkened. “What are you afraid
of? I hired a truck to run her over, turning her
into mincemeat, and I still brought her back!
She’s not that fragile.”
“You guys better hurry up. Her blood can’t be
contaminated at all. This is to save Sarah’s
life!”
The doctor stood before me, hesitant. “Mr.
Hamilton, if you must draw all of Mrs.
<
Hamilton’s blood, please give her anesthetic.
I’m afraid…”
“Afraid of what?!” Mark snapped, interrupting
impatiently. “If she can’t even handle this little
bit of hardship, then what’s the use of me
marrying her and treating her so well!”
The doctor didn’t dare to argue anymore,
dismissed Mark, and started operating on me.
Even though I was unconscious, I could still
feel the blade slicing through my flesh.
Happy memories with Mark flashed. before my
eyes.
Even now, having heard his words with my own ears, I still couldn’t believe he was the
one who caused my car accident.
L
Because Mark thought the bloodletting was
too slow, he specifically told the doctor to
make countless small incisions all over my
body.
I bit my lip in pain, my body trembling
uncontrollably.
The doctor looked sympathetic but could only
tie me down with ropes.
He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead
and shakily called Mark.
“Mrs. Hamilton’s condition isn’t good.
Although she’s unconscious, the pain is still
transmitted to her central nervous system.
Are you sure you don’t want to give her
anesthetic?”
<
“Cut the crap, just draw the blood! If you
have time, you can give her painkillers after
the bloodletting.”
He hung up abruptly, and the last bit of hope
in my heart was completely extinguished.
Maybe it was the baby in my womb
protesting, but my soul was pulled back into
my body.
But before I could do anything, I felt a
wetness beneath me.
“Doctor, look! Is Mrs. Hamilton having a miscarriage?!” the surgical nurse cried out in
alarm. The doctor came over, saw it, and his
pupils constricted.
“Call Mr. Hamilton quickly! If we keep drawing
blood, the baby won’t survive!”
The surgical nurse frantically dialed Mark’s
number.
“Mr. Hamilton, we must stop the bloodletting
immediately. I suspect Mrs. Hamilton…”
Before the doctor could finish, Mark kicked
the operating room door open.
The loud bang startled the doctor, and he
dropped his phone.
“If you dare talk back to me again, you’ll be
the next one to have all your blood drained!”
Hearing his resolute voice, tears streamed
down my face involuntarily.
<
I had been married to Mark for almost two
years, and he had always wanted a baby.
To get pregnant, we went through countless
tests and tried every folk remedy.
Because of my unique physiology, I couldn’t
metabolize the effects of those remedies, and
several times my reactions were so severe
that I almost vomited up my internal organs.
But now the baby had come, and before I
could tell him, he killed it with his own hands!
Mark was panting heavily on the other end of
the phone. The doctor looked at me and,
despite the pressure, said, “Mrs. Hamilton’s
hemorrhaging can’t be stopped…”
