Chapter 7
I was confused, “Where to go?”
He pointed to the hickey on my neck and said, “I don’t know, but we can’t just stay here and let your mom admire the results of our last night’s battle, can we?”
I took out my phone and looked at it, the concealer on my neck had already smudged.
Lightning alert! Lightning alert!
Sitting in the car, I tried to cover the love bite with my hair in front of the mirror.
He suddenly asked me, “Are you okay?”
“Hmm? What?”
Following his gaze, I looked down and my face instantly turned as red as an apple.
I opened the window to let in some fresh air, and I smiled as I tried to make up for it.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. Actually, you were really average, and it didn’t hurt that much either. I didn’t feel anything when I woke up this morning.”
Dylan chuckled, his eyes filled with laughter, as he rested his chin on his hand and looked at me.
“But you didn’t say that last night.”
I was full of confusion. Last night, I was so dizzy, and I still managed to speak?
“What did I say?”
Dylan smirked, imitating the tone I had used last night.
“Ah… um…”
“Please go out, I can’t…”
“Ah ah ah ah ah, shut up!”
Before he could finish speaking, I tightly covered his mouth, wishing I could use a nail to pin his upper and lower lips together.
Suddenly, a moist sensation came from the palm of my hand, and Dylan actually licked my palm.
I wanted to pull my hand out, but he tightly held onto it.

“Luna, actually I have liked you since I was young. I am very happy that you are willing to come
back and choose me.”
“Please believe me, I would definitely have been good to you.”
Actually, I do have some impression of Dylan’s childhood. I vaguely remember that he was a chubby little boy back then, and no one played with him except for me.
Later, I got sick and went back to my home country for treatment. Then, I stayed in my home country for Ryder.
So I haven’t seen him for many years.
Seeing that I was lost in thought and ignoring him, Dylan placed his chin in the palm of my hand with a hint of grievance and asked, “Don’t you want to say something?”
“Um…”
I thought about it.
“After marriage, we wanted to buy a bigger bed.”
The one last night was too small, greatly limiting my performance.
Dylan made me laugh, he came at me, pinched my chin and kissed me until I couldn’t breathe before he left.
He looked at me with relish, but then obediently withdrew his hand.
“Let’s go, baby. We went to have a meal.”
In the following days, Dylan took me around and we tried all the local specialties, explored the scenery, shouted by the seaside, and our feelings quickly grew stronger.
After experiencing a healthy and happy relationship, I realized how uncomfortable it was to have that kind of ambiguous relationship with Ryder, where we pretended to be ignorant while knowing
the truth.
I thought the next time I would see Ryder would be at my wedding.
He would come with Ivy to participate, and we were like two parallel lines, completely diverging from the trajectory of our past intersection.
I didn’t expect it, but it was right at my doorstep.
At that time, Dylan and I had just finished strolling on the street, holding hands affectionately as we

returned. However, we found Ryder kneeling at the door, with blood oozing from the corner of his
mouth, as if he had been beaten by someone.
When he saw me, his dark eyes suddenly lit up.
“Luna…”
