Chapter 235 No Problem Can’t Be Fixed
Jennifer looked at the man in front of her, her gaze slightly panicked. “Aren’t you getting engaged to Sarah?”
“What? Doesn’t that make it more thrilling?” Timothy asked.
“Timothy, what kind of person do you think I am?” Jennifer demanded.
Timothy’s hands gripped her waist as his brows furrowed with a hint of anger. “You handed me over to another woman. What do you think that makes me?”
“When did I give you to another woman? Isn’t it your family that wants to break off the engagement because they think I’m a burden?” Jennifer shot back.
Jennifer felt anger welling up inside her.
After she finished, Timothy bit her neck lightly. “You handled the paparazzi ages ago. Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
“You’d already said you wanted to end the engagement. What was I supposed to say?” Jennifer retorted.
“Why couldn’t you say something?” Timothy snapped, his tone sharp.

Timothy grabbed her chin, frustration evident. Hadn’t he made his feelings clear enough? How could she not trust him?
Jennifer met his gaze. “What should I have said? That it was all a misunderstanding? That the engagement didn’t need to be canceled, and I’d shamelessly stay as your fiancée?”
She couldn’t bring herself to say that.
She wasn’t that self–absorbed.
“Exactly,” Timothy said firmly.
Timothy’s hand gently stroked her waist, his eyes soft with affection. “It wouldn’t be shameless. Don’t think of it that way.”
“But your family is out of reach for mine,” Jennifer said, looking away. “Your mother doesn’t like me and thinks I’m not good enough for you. We’re from different worlds.”
Timothy leaned down and kissed the corner of her lips. “That’s what you truly think, isn’t it?”
Jennifer turned her head away. “It’s the reality.”
“But the reality is that I’m the cripple. Everyone’s mocking me, waiting to laugh at my failures, saying I can’t even keep my fiancée,” Timothy said bitterly.
“Oh, please. With your status, there are plenty of girls lining up to marry you,” Jennifer said, rolling her eyes.

“But none of them are what I want. Only you,” Timothy replied, his voice steady.
Jennifer lowered her eyes. “Stop saying things like that to appease me.”
Timothy’s tone softened, careful yet sincere. “Back then, I thought you’d truly found someone you loved, that you wanted to leave me to find happiness. I didn’t have the right to keep you, so I let you go.”
But now he knew that wasn’t true.
That’s why he’d come to Hargreaves Villa–to ask her directly.
After hearing his explanation, Jennifer finally looked at him. “There’s nothing between me and Jason, not even friendship. Besides, he’s not my type.”
Hearing her explanation, Timothy’s face lit up with a smile. “Then it’s all just a misunderstanding between us.”
He was genuinely relieved. So Jennifer really didn’t have feelings for that singer.
Timothy leaned in and kissed her, this time much gentler.
Jennifer wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. She realized she might truly have fallen for him.

She wanted to follow her heart and let herself go completely, just
this once.
Jennifer reached out and removed Timothy’s shirt, her hands exploring the strong contours of his muscles.
Timothy lowered his head, his lips traveling slowly across her skin, leaving his mark.
Finally, Jennifer pushed Timothy down and straddled him. The temperature in the room seemed to rise instantly.
The two of them clung to each other, entangled in passion, their breaths and sweat mingling together.
Exhausted, Jennifer collapsed onto the bed. “Being on top is so tiring,” she muttered.
Timothy pulled her into his arms, his hands restlessly roaming her body, as if he wasn’t satisfied yet.
It wasn’t long before Jennifer felt something unusual behind her.
Before she could say anything, Timothy moved fully into her from behind, and she heard his satisfied sigh by her car.
Timothy held the breathless Jennifer in his arms, but his movements didn’t stop. He kissed her car lightly and murmured, “We’re just getting started.”

He still remembered the time they were together in the wine
cellar.

Back then, it had been too long since he’d last been with anyone, so his performance hadn’t been great.
This time, he intended to make up for it, with interest.
Jennifer felt like her waist was about to break. Timothy was like a tireless beast, relentlessly taking from her.
The desire in his eyes was overwhelming, as if he wanted to devour her completely.
Eventually, Jennifer passed out, unable to endure any longer.
Who the hell said Timothy was disabled or incapable?
The next day, Jennifer yawned as she woke up, noticing that the sun was already high in the sky.
The two of them lay in bed, wrapped in each other’s arms, neither wearing a stitch of clothing.
Jennifer turned her head and saw Timothy’s handsome face beside her. She couldn’t believe what they’d done last night–it had been so wild.
Staring at the ceiling, she muttered, “What now?”
“What do you mean?” Timothy asked, his voice husky.

His hand rested on her waist as he spoke in a raspy tone.

Jennifer pressed down on his hand. “You’re engaged to Sarah. What we did wasn’t right, was it?”
Just as she finished, Sarah’s voice came from outside, followed by a knock on the door. “Mr. Clark, are you up?”
Jennifer started to get up, but Timothy pressed her back down, leaning in to capture her lips in a kiss.
