At first, the pedestrians who were bumped into by Parker thought he was just a lunatic who had escaped from a psychiatric hospital. But as his erratic behavior and muttered
words, “You all deserve to die“, became more apparent, people realized he was out for revenge on society.
They quickly called the police, but by the time the officers arrived, Parker had vanished
without a trace.
At the mansion, Michelle, Kenneth and Anya were having dinner while watching the news. Suddenly, they saw a report about Parker’s revenge on society, which shocked them.

slammed the table. “Unbelievable! This is absolutely ridiculous! Michelle, how could you have ever been with such a person?” She couldn’t help but feel sorry for her
daughter, her voice softening as she said, “Michelle, you’ve been through so much all these years.”
Michelle smiled gently, comforting her in return, “Mom, don’t worry. It’s all in the past now.” It’s all in the past, hardships have finally given way to happiness.
Kenneth served them both bowls of salad, chuckling, “Let’s just eat without bringing up such a heavy topic.” Michelle and Anya shared a smile, the atmosphere light and warm.
At that moment, the doorbell rang suddenly, breaking the peaceful moment. Before

Michelle could open the door, Parker’s
enraged voice could be heard outside.
Her former lover, now seething with anger, was shouting out every curse imaginable, “Michelle! You ungrateful dog! I was so good to you back then! And you dared betray me?” “Didn’t I just make the same mistake every other man makes? You, being such a jealous woman, are ruining the virtues of all women! Get out here, you bitch!” he shouted.
The harsh curses made Anya shiver and even Kenneth couldn’t hold back his anger, ready to storm out and punch him. But Michelle remained calm, continuing to eat as though unaffected, as if the situation had nothing to do with her.

it that he slammed his cutleries down, about to rush outside. However, Michelle stopped him.
Taking her time, Michelle dialed the police and before long, the sound of sirens echoed from outside. Parker’s curses gradually died down.
Michelle looked at Kenneth, her gaze light as she asked, “Kenneth, do you also want to end up on the news?”
“Sorry, Michelle. I acted on impulse,” Kenneth lowered his gaze, his tone somewhat
regretful.
Michelle gently patted his head, soothing him. “I’m not angry, I just don’t want you getting involved with someone like that. It’s not worth it.”

Anya’s anger finally eased and seeing the two of them getting along so well, she couldn’t help but smile. “Alright, let the police handle this mess,” Anya said, chuckling.
“But as for you two, shouldn’t you start discussing your own matters?” Her smile was unmistakable, filled with joy as her two beloved ones were now together.
Upon hearing that, Michelle felt her ears grow warm and a flush spread across her face, looking shyly at Kenneth.
Kenneth, however, turned away, unusually avoiding her gaze and simply muttered, “It’s not the right time yet.”
Michelle froze for a moment, a fleeting feeling of disappointment creeping in, but she quickly masked it and replied, “I’ll follow

Kenneth gently rubbed her head, with affectionate warmth in his voice, “Let’s just
eat first.”
Michelle didn’t think too much about it, consciously lowering her expectations. But secretly, she thought, If I end up going through this all over again, I’d accept it without question.
On Michelle’s birthday, Parker died by suicide in the psychiatric hospital. It happened after Parker had been placed in the psychiatric facility, his mental state increasingly erratic, though not yet violent enough to harm others.
