As soon as she finished speaking, Shane
lunged at her, grabbing her neck and pressing
her against the wall.
“Why did you kill Holly?”
“Why did you deceive me? And her? We had
nothing!”
“Xu Mei, I trusted you so much, I’ll kill you!”
His grip tightened, Xu Mei’s face turned
whiter, looking like she couldn’t breathe.
I was stunned.
What did Shane just say? He said they had
nothing?
I didn’t believe it. If they really had nothing,
why didn’t he explain when I questioned him?
Why was he entangled with Xu Mei while he
was with me?
I coldly watched the scene, for a moment, I
really hoped Shane would strangle her to
death.
Li Hao rushed over, pulling Shane’s hands
away, gasping for breath.
“Mr. Shen, you can’t do this. Ms. Su died so
unjustly, if you kill the culprit, it’s too easy for
her.”
Shane’s body froze.
Xu Mei could breathe, her body collapsing to
the floor, then she coughed violently.
After coughing, she cried pitifully, “Ahui, I’m
sorry, please forgive me.‘
“Ahui, I was momentarily infatuated, it’s all my
fault, I love you so much, I don’t want anyone
to take you away…
Shane gritted his teeth, squeezing out a
sentence, “Get out, I don’t want to see your
disgusting face again.”
Xu Mei froze, staring blankly at the man she’d
loved for over a decade.
“I’ll have Li Hao gather all the evidence to
charge you with Holly’s murder. You’ll spend
the rest of your life in prison!”
“Get out!”
Xu Mei was startled and stumbled away.
I thought I’d be furious, but seeing Shane’s
bloodshot eyes, I suddenly felt relieved.
I sat beside him, chattering.
“Alright, a big man crying like this? See, I
didn’t cry.”
“It’s a pity, I died young, you know? There are
so many places I haven’t been.”
Just then, Shane said, “Get out, make sure
you handle what I told you.”
“I don’t care how you do it, no matter how
much it costs, get the best lawyer and make
sure Xu Mei rots in jail!”
Li Hao left.
Shane gave a bitter smile, his eyes red.
He muttered to himself, “Holly, I’m sorry, I
misunderstood you.”
“You said Xu Mei wasn’t a good person, I
should have believed you.”
