- 12.
Ethan thought I did one good thing before I
died.
He wasn’t wrong.
He was calm.
He chewed his nails and tried to light a
cigarette.
Miller hadn’t said anything, and Ethan said, “It’s just what she deserved. Bad things happen for a reason.”

suppor
“I’ll take the body later.”
I stood between them, and I was sad.
The phone rang.
Ethan, you need to breathe!
“Hello? Mia?”
“Ethan, you haven’t been here with me. Do
you not love me?”
Ethan wiped his nose and spoke calmly.
“I’m busy.”
<
“Ethan, I fell outside. I can’t move.‘
Ethan frowned and looked annoyed.
“Let your friends help you.”
Hearing Ethan’s words, Mia said, “I’ll just be
here alone. I don’t know if there’s a killer out
there.”
“Ethan! I love you!”
Ethan exhaled.
“Don’t move. I’ll be there.”
It was just a scratch, but Ethan carried her.
I wanted him to carry me home.
I was a kid following Ethan, and followed his
shadow.
Now it was so far and cold.
Ethan was talking.
“You can’t take care of yourself. You’re
messy like Jenny. Are you ever going to grow
up?”
Ethan stopped.
く
Jenny was stuck as a 23 year old.
She’ll never grow up.
“Jenny didn’t care. She brought it on herself.
She will never listen.”
Mia rested her head on Ethan’s neck, waiting
for him to praise her.
Ethan’s face changed, and he dropped Mia.
Mia was scared and didn’t say anything.
Later, Ethan turned to help her.
L
“I’m too tired. Are you alright?”
Mia smiled and rested on Ethan.
It rained harder than when I died.
Mia wanted Ethan to put her to sleep.
“Ethan, stay with me!”
