- 4.
After packing, I went to the wedding shop.
My mom designed a wedding dress for me,
so I gave it to the wedding shop so I could
wear it on my wedding.
But now that I’m not marrying him, I’m taking
the wedding dress.
But the boss told me, “The dress was taken
yesterday.”
L
I called Mike, and it took me 10 calls before
he answered. I heard noise behind him.
“Mike, did you take my mom’s wedding
dress?”
Mike was speechless, “The wedding dress?
What are you talking about.”
I was about to ask more, when he hung up.
According to location, I arrived at a flower
garden.
Olivia was wearing my wedding dress, riding
on Mike’s neck and taking a photo.
The dress was extremely dirty, and was torn.
Seeing me, Mike hurried and put Olivia on the
<
floor, hugging her. I got angry, trying to rip off
the dress, when Mike pushed me.
“Are you crazy? I’m just walking along with
Olivia, it’s not a real wedding, why are you
making a scene?”
“The kid has a dream about weddings, can’t
you just fulfill it for her?”
I felt red–faced, “You do whatever you want,
but why did you have to touch my mom’s
belongings?”
Mike’s face showed his guilt, but he still put
Olivia behind him. “I was going to pick out a
bride’s maid dress with the kid, and she fell in
love with your wedding dress, so I gave it to
her.
L
“If you are this stingy, then I’ll reconsider the
wedding.”
Mike showed his determination, threatening
me with marriage, I wanted to marry him.
Tears were in my eyes, “I didn’t want to marry
you!”
Seeing me cry, Mike panicked, but then Olivia
started to cry.
“Here, Stacy, I’ll give it to you, don’t fight with
Mike because of me.”
Olivia ripped the dress, causing it to tear,
then throwing it on the dirty ground.
I picked up the dress.
L
Mike started hugging Olivia, then slapping my
face.
He yelled at me, “It’s just a wedding dress.
Why did you have to rip it off. You’re making
her tear her clothes in front of everyone!”
“I told you many times, Olivia is a kid!”
I looked at the wedding dress, I couldn’t hear
what Mike was saying.
I felt a hole in my chest, cold wind rushing
into my body.
Looking at my expression, Mike tried to hug
me, but Olivia fell on the ground.
Mike grabbed her and left.
I took the dress to get it fixed.
I looked at my phone, seeing texts from Mike.
[I’ll make you a wedding dress, but I’II
compensate Olivia, and her dress needs to be
better than you. She needs to wear the scarf
too.]
[You need to apologize in front of all the
guests, or I won’t be exchanging rings with
you.]
I said “Okay,” and I didn’t tell him anything.
That night, I sat on a plane to the ocean.
On the wedding morning, Mike kept calling
- me.
<
He went to Mike’s mom and asked, “Mom, I
can’t contact Stacy, and if she doesn’t come,
the wedding won’t start.”
She said, “Stacy left yesterday. Today is your
wedding with Olivia. Didn’t you know?”
