Amelia’s heart fluttered at the idea of staying in the packhouse, of being with Logan. It felt right. She looked up at him, her heart swelling with gratitude and something more–something that she couldn’t quite put into words.
“I’d love that,” she said, her voice soft but certain. She took his hand, the gesture natural, as though it had been waiting for her to accept it all along.
When they finally arrived at the Shadow Pack, Amelia was awestruck. The packhouse was magnificent–towering and regal, surrounded by lush gardens and tall trees. It felt like a place from a dream, a stark contrast to the cramped, humble living space she had come from at Lotus Pack.
And just days staying in Shadow Pack, she could already feel the contrast of how they treated her compared to her past pack.

Several maids immediately approached, smiling warmly as they led her to a dressing room. “Miss, I have prepared these for you,” one of them said, gesturing to a selection of elegant gowns.
“Please choose one. Our Alpha asked me to prepare them for you.”
Amelia blinked, surprised by the sudden attention. She had never been treated this way, especially not in Lotus Pack, where she had been expected to handle everything on her own. She had been the Luna, but she had always been made to feel like a servant. She spent her days cleaning, cooking, doing everything for Adam–never once receiving the pampering and care she was now receiving.
The maids didn’t stop there. They continued to show her various dresses,
jewelry, and accessories, each more beautiful than the last.
“This is incredible,” she murmured, her voice barely a whisper as she looked at the

beautiful gowns.
The maids continued to fuss over her, helping her choose the perfect dress, doing her hair and makeup. It was like being in a fairytale. She had never felt so special in her life.
Later that evening, Logan invited her to attend a gathering in the packhouse.
“Come with me, I’ll tell the world.

my fated mate.”
The grand hall of Shadow Pack‘ s packhouse was alive with chatter and laughter. The banquet was in full swing, with the long tables laden with delicacies and drinks, a perfect reflection of the prosperity of the pack. But amidst all the noise and revelry, all eyes were on Amelia.
Logan, effortlessly confident, had placed his hand on her arm as he led her through the crowd. The guests, a mixture of pack members and neighboring alphas, turned

to greet them. Logan’s easy–going nature made him seem more like a friend than an intimidating Alpha. His broad smile and infectious energy spread through the crowd like wildfire. He introduced Amelia to everyone with such pride, his voice warm as he gestured to her.
“This is my mate, everyone,” Logan said, his gaze never leaving Amelia as he spoke. “The beautiful woman who has captured my heart.”
A chorus of applause filled the room, and Amelia felt a flush creep up her neck. She hadn’t expected such an open reception, but it made her heart swell with gratitude. She could see the love and respect the pack had for Logan–how they didn’t treat him like an untouchable Alpha but like a friend, someone who was approachable and beloved.

Logan‘ s, stepped forward.
“Well, well, well, looks like the notorious bachelor of Shadow Pack has finally been caught.” he teased, slapping Logan on the back. “I thought for sure you‘ d live and die alone, mate. Guess I was wrong.”
The room erupted in laughter, and Amelia couldn’t help but smile, even as a faint blush spread across her cheeks. Logan raised an eyebrow and grinned
mischievously.
“Yes, I thought so too,” he said, his voice teasing. “But I’ve found my fated mate. She’s everything I never knew I needed.”
Amelia’s heart fluttered in her chest. She couldn’t remember the last time someone had spoken to her so openly, so fondly. The way Logan spoke about her made her feel cherished in a way she had never experienced before. She looked up at him, her heart filled with a warmth she hadn‘ t realized was missing until now.
