Years had passed, and peace reigned in the Shadow Pack‘ s territory. The battle with the Rogue King was long behind them, a distant memory overshadowed by the happiness that had since filled Logan and Amelia’s lives.
Amelia smiled as she cradled her daughter, her heart swelling with love and gratitude. The little girl, only three years old, had inherited her parents‘ best traits— Logan’s commanding presence and Amelia‘ s striking eyes, shimmering with the telltale glow of the Rising Moon

“Ready to go, love?” Logan’s deep voice broke her reverie. He stood by the door, holding a bouquet of lilies. His gaze
softened as it landed on Amelia and their
daughter.
“Almost,” Amelia replied, brushing a hand over her daughter’s dark curls.

“Let’s go visit Grandma and Grandpa.”
Their journey was serene, the sun shining warmly overhead as they arrived at the hill where Amelia’s parents rested. It was a quiet, beautiful spot surrounded by wildflowers and the soft rustle of trees. Amelia approached the grave, her steps. slow and reverent, her emotions rising as she knelt before the stone markers.
With their daughter nestled in her arms, she began to speak. “Mom… Dad… I’ve missed you so much.” Her voice trembled, tears slipping down her cheeks. “Life hasn’t been easy, but I made it. I have a family now, a sweet little girl. Her name is Liana.” She glanced down at the giggling child, who waved her tiny hand at the
gravestones.
“Hi, Grandma! Hi, Grandpa!” Liana chirped, her voice bright.
Amelia let out a tearful laugh, her fingers tracing the carved names on the stones.

Logan stepped closer, resting a reassuring hand on Amelia’s shoulder. “They’d be proud of you, Amelia. Of the woman, the mate, the mother you’ve become.”
Amelia looked up at him, her tears now mixed with a smile. “I know. And you’re the best husband and mate there is, my
love.”
Their daughter squirmed in Amelia‘ s arms, her wide silver eyes glimmering mischievously. “Play hide and seek?”
Logan chuckled. “Liana, we‘ re here to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We’ll play later, okay?”
But before he finished speaking, Liana giggled and vanished in a shimmering

burst of light.
“She teleported again!” Logan groaned, shaking his head with a grin.
Amelia stood, her motherly instincts
already scanning the surroundings.
“Liana, where are you?”
“Here!” Liana’s voice rang out from the treetops. They looked up, spotting her perched on a low branch, swinging her legs with glee.
Logan sighed, pretending to be stern.
“You little troublemaker, you‘ re going to give your dad a heart attack one of these days.”
Amelia laughed, her heart feeling lighter than it had in years. “She’s your daughter, Logan. The trouble comes from you.”
“Debatable,” Logan teased as he reached up to pluck Liana from the branch. But before he could, she teleported again, appearing behind Amelia this time.

“Caught you, Mama!” Liana declared, wrapping her tiny arms around Amelia‘ s legs.
“Caught me? I’m supposed to be
catching you!” Amelia said, scooping her up and tickling her sides. Liana squealed with laughter, her bright joy echoing through the clearing.
The three of them returned to the graveside, settling into a moment of peace. Amelia placed the lilies on the stone, her heart full. “Thank you for watching over me, Mom and Dad. I’ll keep protecting Liana, just like you protected me. I’ll make sure she grows up knowing love, not fear.‘
Logan wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. “Don’t worry, hun. You‘ re doing a wonderful job already.”
Meanwhile, Liana, now nestled between them, clapped her hands. “Family forever!”
