Renata was wearing the wedding dress I had carefully chosen. She said she didn’t want to, yet her expression was smug as she swayed her hips toward Dustin.
“Just do as I said.
She begged me to marry her so she wouldn’t get upset over something so trivial.”
Dustin lifted Renata’s chin and looked her up and down.
“Hmm, you look much better in it than she does.”
Renata’s eyes glinted with satisfaction. She looked eager to throw herself into his arms.
“Then which one of us do you like more, me or her?”
I pushed open the door and calmly stared at them.
Dustin didn’t seem at all embarrassed by the scene. He pushed Renata aside and frowned.
“Why are you so late? Go change into your dress.”
He quickly realized his words were too blunt and softened his tone as he walked over to me.
“Is your blood sugar better now?”
I nodded and smiled politely.
He gave me a strange look. A simple gesture of concern from him used to make me feel giddy, eager to chatter endlessly around him.
But now, I was cold and distant.
Dustin snorted, said nothing further, and left the makeup room.
I watched Renata wearing my wedding dress. It was tailored to my measurements, and surprisingly, it fit her quite well.
I gave her an honest compliment. “You look good in this dress.”
Renata froze, looking at me like she thought I had lost my mind. She crossed her arms and
looked arrogant.
“You don’t have to act all sarcastic. It was Mr. Lawson who told me to wear it for him.”
I blinked. I wasn’t being sarcastic. I was just complimenting her.
Renata’s mocking words grew sharper when she saw I wasn’t reacting.
“Mr. Lawson put the wedding ring on me, made me wear the dress. The one he wants to
marry
is me!”
Her expression twisted, and despite wearing the wedding dress, she looked nothing like a
bride–to–be.
Renata rubbed her belly and shot me a provocative look.
“And I’m pregnant now. Even if you marry Dustin, it won’t end well.
He loves me!”
She was trying to provoke me. The Lawson family was rich beyond belief, and the wedding budget alone was over ten million dollars.
She was going crazy with jealousy. She couldn’t fathom why, despite Dustin not wanting me, I was still able to marry into the Lawson family. She believed that, since she had Dustin’s favor, she ought to be the one destined for such good fortune,

tared at her calmly and said flatly, “I don’t want him anymore. You can marry Dustin.”
Half an hour later, Dustin stood in the banquet hall, dressed in a sharp suit, his posture
straight.
All the guests turned their attention to the entrance, waiting for the bride to arrive.
As the door opened, the white wedding dress slowly came into view.
But then, everyone froze.
The guests looked at each other, puzzled, and turned their eyes to Dustin. He looked grim as if about to explode.
I stood at the door in comfortable sportswear, holding Renata’s hand,
And she was wearing the wedding dress that was meant for me.
The atmosphere in the hall shifted abruptly, filled with fragmented whispers and chatter. I walked steadily toward Dustin with Renata by my side.
His face turned pale with rage, and through gritted teeth, he spat out, “Lyanna, what the hell are you doing!”
Lignored his furious glare and placed Renata’s hand in his, saying coolly, “Today is Dustin’s wedding.
But the one who is going to marry him is not me but this Ms. Watson.”
