The vicious girlfriend blamed me, couldn’t stand it after my rebirth
Chapter 1
My girlfriend of three years dumped me for
some fresh–faced college kid, and pinned the
blame on me for everything.
I woke up to find myself the most hated
doctor in town, accused of killing the
gorgeous actress, Jennifer Moon, who had
millions of fans!
My reputation was ruined, I was kicked out of
the medical community.
Jennifer’s fans broke both my legs, and then I
died a miserable death in prison.
<
But my ex was snuggled up with her boy toy,
sleeping in the very bed we used to share!
“That idiot was only good for taking the fall.”
“Honey, I’m so lucky to have you. I love you.”
I was filled with hate!
If I could, I’d kill those two lovebirds!
Then, I opened my eyes again.
I was back in the ambulance.
1
We were at the scene of a multi–car pileup.
“The patient’s got blood backing up into her
lungs,” Ashley said, her face grim. “We need
to do a chest tap, and fast!”
“There’s a pile–up ahead, we won’t make it
back in time,” I said, “Get me a needle.”
That’s when the newbie, Ethan, rushed
forward.
“Let me do it, Ashley! I just learned how!”
He practically shoved me aside, who was
busy bandaging someone else.
I stumbled back, but I didn’t say anything.
Ashley hesitated. “Ethan, this patient is kind
of a big deal. If something goes wrong, we’re
in deep trouble.”
L
“Maybe I should do it?”
Ashley and I had been together for three
years.
We were both top students back in the day.
But I played second fiddle to Ashley.
Now, everyone thought Ashley was the
medical genius who landed a fancy director
position straight out of school.
Whenever there was something dangerous,
she was the one they called.
And this time, the patient was Jennifer Moon,
the actress.
She was a huge star, known for her acting
skills and for being absolutely stunning.
Plus, her family was loaded. Word on the
street was they had connections to the mob,
so you didn’t want to mess with them.
Saving their daughter’s life would be like
having a “get out of jail free” card.
Ethan was jumping at the chance to make a
name for himself.
“Come on, Ashley,” Ethan whined, “You’ll be
there to guide me, right?”
“Alright,” Ashley said after a second, nodding.
“It’s urgent, but it’s not that hard, come here.”
“Thanks, Ashley!” Ethan hurried over.
く
The patient had fluid in her lungs.
A chest tap would drain it out.
“Think about this,” I said.
“It’s not super dangerous, but a newbie like you could mess it up and make things worse!”
Last time, they ignored me.
I figured Ashley knew what she was doing, so
I left to help other patients.
After the chest tap, Ethan’s face was covered
in blood, he looked horrified.
Ashley comforted him while I rode with the
patient back to the hospital.
Г
But, something went wrong.
Ethan messed up the chest tap, causing a
pneumothorax.
And he didn’t say anything until it was too
late, the patient died.
The mistake was so stupid, and the victim
was Jennifer Moon.
The Moon family put pressure on everyone,
and Jennifer’s fans were outside the hospital,
demanding justice.
Last time, I was trying to help Ethan.
But, they both said that I did the chest tap!
They claimed they tried to stop me, but that I
was showing off to get in good with the Moon
family.
Even the nurse and driver backed them up.
And of course, the camera in the ambulance
was broken.
I was screwed.
I got fired, and then the medical community
disowned me.
Then Jennifer’s fans broke my legs.
The Moon family sued me, and I was sent to
prison, where some inmates killed me to
avenge Jennifer.
Jennifer’s fans scattered my ashes on the
highway.
They wanted me to be run over forever, soul
and all.
I became a ghost and followed Ashley.
I watched her and Ethan steal my medical
research.
They got it published, and Ethan became
famous like Ashley.
Then, I watched them get married.
Ethan hugged Ashley and said, “I’m so glad
Leo’s dead. He was like a thorn in my side.”
<
Ashley smiled and stroked Ethan’s face.
“Don’t worry about that. Let’s not talk about
him. You’re going to love me forever, right?”
My heart broke.
Those two screwed me over and climbed to
the top on my back!
I wanted to kill them!
Then, it happened.
I was reborn.
I was back in the ambulance, on the way to
the accident.
く
Ethan was eager to help.
Just like last time, no one cared about what I
said.
Ashley glanced at me. “Don’t worry. It’s good
for Ethan to get some practice. And I’m here,
so nothing will go wrong.”
“Besides, Ethan is smart, unlike you.”
