My husband’s beloved girl Carol Wilson and I, who was pregnant, were both kidnapped. The kidnappers forced my husband Bruce Davis to choose only one person to save.”
“You can have another child if you lose this one. Carol saved my life when I was young, so I must save her.”
Bruce chose Carol and watched me fall off a high cliff, ignoring me and the baby.”
I luckily survived, but my child was gone.”
I had just had a miscarriage and was crying sadly, but Bruce believed Carol’s words and thought that I had hired the kidnappers to kidnap her.”
He rushed into the ward and slapped me hard, then threatened me with my family and forced me to apologize to Carol.” “Flora, Carol saved my life before. She is so kind. How could you hurt her?“”
Later, Bruce found out that it was me who saved him when he was young, and Carol was just an imposter.”
He cried bitterly, saying that he would do anything as long as I could come back.”

The kidnappers hung Carol and me on two trees on the edge of a high cliff. They asked my husband Bruce to choose between the two and only save one of us.
I was six months pregnant and was prone to body aches. Being hung on a tree made me very uncomfortable.”
For the sake of my child, I humbly asked Bruce for help with a choked voice.”
“Bruce, I’m pregnant. If I fall, I will have a miscarriage.”
“This kidnapping was planned by Carol. If you choose me, she will be fine. Please save the baby, okay?“”
On the way here in the car, I heard the conversation between Carol and the kidnappers and learned that Carol was the mastermind behind the kidnapping.”
Hearing my words, Bruce looked at me with contempt.”
“Flora, I didn’t expect you to be so mean. To save your life, you actually threw dirty water on Carol.”
“Even if the child is gone, we can have another one. Carol saved my life, so I must save her. I choose to save Carol.”
My eyes widened in shock. I thought that even if he didn’t want to save me, he would save the baby. After all, it was his child.
But I didn’t expect that he would be so cruel and would let us die.”
Bruce made his choice, and the kidnappers cut the rope on my side.”
As I fell off a high cliff, my internal organs were ruptured, my hands and feet were broken, and there was a pool of blood under
me.”
After three days of rescue, I survived, but the child was gone.
I collapsed and cried, immersed in the pain of losing my child, but Bruce rushed into the ward and slapped me hard in the face.
“Carol told me that you asked her out and then had someone kidnap her.”
“You had the nerve to slander Carol before. You deserve this now.“”
The slap made my whole body tremble, and the unhealed wounds were torn apart, causing me to wail in pain.
I felt disappointed. It was his child. How could he say such cruel words?!
I clenched my fists and screamed with bloodshot eyes, “Bruce, are you stupid? If I hired those kidnappers, would I let myself be hurt like this?“!
Bruce was stunned for a while, then smiled with contempt.
“Who knows if you got involved in this to get rid of suspicion? You ended up hurting yourself like this.
“But no matter what, Carol is innocent. I have told you many times that I only treat Carol as my sister, but you always cause trouble for her, and now you have killed our child.
“Flora, can you stop messing around?”
I thought Bruce was stupid.
He said he treated Carol as his sister, but he brought her back to our house.
For Carol’s safety, he even abandoned me and the baby, letting us fall to the bottom of the cliff.
How on earth did he have the nerve to say those words?!
I was so angry that I laughed, and then tears streamed down my face.
After a long–time, I took a deep breath and finally made a decision in my heart.”
“Let’s get a divorce. Since you think Carol is more important than me and the baby, I will help you.”

Bruce’s face darkened as he said angrily, “Flora, can you stop making a fuss? This matter is your fault. Do you think I will compromise if you bring up the divorce?
“I found that you have changed. You used to be considerate, but now you are like a shrew, always losing your temper.“”
I laughed. My child was gone, but he actually thought I was making a fuss and threatening him.”
I had just had surgery and was unable to move. Otherwise, I would have picked up everything around me and thrown it at him.” “Well, take a good rest. I’ll come see you another day.“N
After saying this, Bruce strode out of the ward without hesitation.
Looking at his back as he left, I smiled in self–mockery and sadness, feeling sorry for myself that it took me ten years to truly see through a person.
